The purpose of this Methodical Instruction shall be to ensure compliance of potable water and sources of utility and drinking water supply with water quality standards by parasitological indices. It shall be used for detection of pathogenic protozoan cysts of intestinal tract and helminth eggs in the process of inspection of surface waterbodies and sources of utility and drinking water supply. Methodical Instruction establishes the process of analysis of potable water samples and assessment of the outcome of research.
