This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Ministry of Energy shall be the authorized state institution carrying out the following tasks: (a) implementation of the state policy in the sphere of energy and gas supply of the national consumers; (b) supply and rational use of electric energy, thermal energy, natural gas, liquid gas and solid fuel; (c) ensuring energy safety; (d) ensuring nuclear and radiation safety in the process of nuclear energy production; and (d) elaboration of proposals related to energy policy.
