Ministerial Joint Decision No. 328609 establishing additional measures for the application of the European Community policy with regard to the aid that is intended for the local production of traditional cheeses in the smaller Aegean islands.

With the present Decision is enacted the European Community policy to assist local production in the smaller Aegean islands as established by Council Regulations Nos. 1405/2006 and 1914/2006 introducing specific measures concerning the improvement of production for certain agricultural products, namely cow, sheep and goat milk disposed for the production of traditional cheeses. The Decision establishes the competent authorities for granting such subsidies, the subsidy rate (depending on the type of milk and calculated annually), the beneficiaries and the procedures for participating in the selection process.
