Himachal Pradesh Fruit Nurseries Registration Act, 1973 (Act No. 15 of 1973).

This Act provides measures for the control of fruit plant nurseries. The Act sets out requirements and procedures for obtaining a licence to produce and sell nursery plants or plant material and for registering any person or firm engaged in these activities. The Act further provides for: appeals; powers of the competent authority to enter and inspect nurseries; packaging and labelling instructions; powers of the State Government to prohibit or regulate the import or export of fruit plants; offences and penalties; power making rules of the Government; etc.
