The present Act egulates all aspects of beekeeping in Denmark, including disease control, breeding, conservation, education, and beekeeper registration. It empowers the Minister for Environment and Food to issue regulations, appoint bee inspectors, and establish mating stations and protected zones to preserve native bee species. The law also provides compensation mechanisms for losses caused by disease control or conservation measures and allows for arbitration in cases of pesticide-related bee deaths. Violations may result in fines, and enforcement includes inspection and reporting powers.
