The present Act lays down provisions relating to the control of noxious weeds and to the powers and duties of weed inspectors. Section 14 rules that every owner or occupant of land shall destroy noxious weeds on his land and prevent the spread of noxious weeds to other lands. The text consists of 48 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: Preliminary matters (I); Administration (II); Owners and occupants (III); Weed control measures (IV); General (V); Repeal, consequential amendment and coming into force (VI).
