Legislative Decree No. 188 implementing Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators and repealing Directive 91/157/EEC.

This Legislative Decree sets out provisions governing the marketing of batteries and accumulators containing hazardous substances, as well as the treatment, recycling and disposal of waste batteries. Article 3 lays down specific prohibitions on marketing.
