This Ministerial Decree establishes technical requirements for quality and safety of wine products, for grapes as raw materials used for wine production, for technological procedures and processes used for wine production, labelling, compliance with the established standards and traceability of grapes and wine products. Grapes used for wine production shall be registered in the State Register of plant varieties. Safety of wine products shall be ensured at all stages of processing, handling, packaging transportation and trade in accordance with hygienic and sanitary requirements validated by the Ministry of Public Health.
