This Ministerial Decree establishes that Chief State Technical Supervision Inspection shall be the authorized state institution carrying special functions in the sphere of state control and technical supervision of hazardous production sites. The Inspection shall carry out the following tasks: (a) enforcement of legislation in the sphere of industrial safety; (b) state control and technical supervision of hazardous production sites dealing with transport, storage and use of explosives, processing and enrichment of minerals; (c) investigation of technological disasters and accidents; and (d) prepares documentation for the issuance, registration and cancellation of mining certificates.
