These Rules apply to rock lobster fishery. The Rules provide for areas where fishing rock lobster may occur, matters relating to the characteristics of fish, opening and closing of the rock lobster fishery season, total allowable catch, fishing gear, size limits, and for limits and restrictions on the taking and possessing of rock lobster. The Rules set out provision relating to the different classes of recreational and commercial rock lobster fishing licences as specified in detail in the text. The Rules further provide for: unloading, sale, transfer and transportation of rock lobsters; reporting and tracking; tagging requirements; etc.
