The Order aims to promote the most economic and environmentally friendly supply of energy, reducing dependence from oil. Energy supply in this act includes import, transport and distribution of oil products and gaseous products; distribution of energy supply equipment and methods. The Order sets regulations on energy supply demands and the implementation thereof in industrial buildings, private homes etc. Fees and charges calculated on the energy supply activities shall be distributed according to the end-customers and purposes. It consists of 8 Chapters: Purpose and definition (1); Authorities and companies (2); Planning and approval of energy supply implementation (3); Duties of supply of electricity and heating (4); Special provisions for heating (5); Provisions on energy prices and delivery terms (6); Appeals and penalties (7); Entry into force (8).
