This Regulation prescribes the manner, standards, procedures, and methodology of implementation of engineering controls in organic production. When an entity involves for the first time in the expert control system, it must develop: a) a detailed description of the unit and/or work area and/or activities; b) all the measures to be taken at the unit level and/or working space and/or activities to ensure compliance with the rules of organic production; c) the precautions to be taken in order to reduce the risk from presence of unauthorized products or substances and the cleaning measures to be taken into the places of storage in the production chain. An entity shall promptly report any change to the control body. The control authority shall perform the official controls at least once a year. Annexes I and II are part of this Regulation.
