This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of examination of applications for the issuance of authorization for the use of the official or historic name of the state in trademarks, places of origin of commodities, declaration null and void of such authorization, and also restriction of use of such denominations. The use of the official or historic name of the state in trademarks and places of origin of commodities shall be charged. The issuing authority shall be the State Intellectual Property Agency (AGEPI). Application shall be filled in Moldavian language and must contain description and graphic image of trademark.
