The Decree establishes the requirements for the issuance either of new (article 1, paragraph e) or transferability (article 1, paragraphs a, b and c) of professional fishing licenses to medium-scale inshore vessels. Among its provisions, the Decree provides for the approval for replacing a fishing vessel (article 1, paragraphs 1, 1b, 1c and articles 3 and 4) and the authorization for replacing the vessel’s engine and the technical requirements for its power capacity.
