These Regulations implement the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998. The Regulations provide for restrictions on the access to designated land, on the use of vehicles on designated land and on other activities specified in the text unless in possession of a permission granted by the Authority. The Regulations further provide for the protection of biological diversity and the environment, and for infringement notices and penalties.
