This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of licensing of hydrometeorological activity and related fields carried out by legal persons and individual entrepreneurs. The aforesaid activity shall include: (a) identification of meteorological, climatological, hydrological, oceanological, heligeophysical and agrometeorological characteristics of environment; (b) identification of pollution (including radioactive pollution) of the atmospheric air, soil, waterbodies and outer space; (c) elaboration and submittal to consumers of forecast, analytical and calculated information related to the state of environment; and (d) creation and keeping databases in the sphere of hydrometeorology and related fields. Licensing authority shall be the Federal Hydrometeorological and Environmental Monitoring Service.
