This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of licensing of management of the sources of ionizing radiation (generating sources) carried out by legal persons on the territory of the Russian Federation. Licensing authority shall be the Federal Supervision Service for Protection of Consumers and Human Well-being. Licensed activity shall be related to work and services. Licensing requirements shall include: (a) availability of facilities and equipment; (b) availability of radiation control, registration and protection systems; and (c) availability of qualified staff. The applicant shall submit the following documentation: (a) copy of documents attesting availability of constructions, works and facilities (immovable property); (b) copy of documents attesting availability of radiation sources; and (c) copy of documents attesting staff qualification in the field of radiation sources.
