This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of transportation of animals and animal genetic resources on the national territory. It shall be applicable to agricultural animals, genetic resources, including animal products, veterinary preparations and animal feedstuffs. The aforesaid cargo shall be accompanied by sanitary and veterinary certificates. Transportation (transfer) of the aforesaid cargo without sanitary and veterinary certificate shall be prohibited. Vehicles used for transportation (transfer) of agricultural animals and genetic resources of animal origin shall be subject to regular disinfection and disinfestation. In case of identification of clinical signs of animal and poultry disease the accompanying personnel shall immediately inform thereof the local sanitary and veterinary inspector.
