This Regional Decree regulates artisanal and sport fishing for personal consumption, recreational fishing and fishing tourism, and also protection of aquatic biological resources. Natural persons carrying out artisanal and sport fishing must be in possession of personal identity card, members of fishing associations – fishing association membership card and show them, together with fishing gear, catch and floating craft to fishing inspector at his request. The total number of fish hooks for one fisherman shall not exceed 10. Fishing hooks must be factory made. In case of application of weight rates apiece catch quotas shall be suppressed. This Regional Decree establishes size of fishes, crustaceans and molluscs subject to fishing and catch and lists prohibited fishing gear and prohibited fishing methods. Artisanal and sport catch or hunting of any marine animal shall be prohibited everywhere all year round.
