This Governor’s Decree establishes the modalities of non-commercial fishing in the regional waterbodies for personal consumption. Total allowable daily catch per fisherman shall be 20 kg of fish and 30 pieces of crawfish. Underwater hunting (spearfishing) shall be classified as a form of artisanal fishing and shall be authorized without the use of self contained breathing apparatus outside water recreational areas. Fishing shall be authorized all year round except for spawning period. Unauthorized repopulation of fishes to new natural habitats shall be prohibited. Fishing in accordance once-only nominal fishing licence shall be carried out in specially allocated waterbodies or plots thereof.
