State complex nature reserve “Krasnoyarskiy” shall have the status of regional protected area. It is located on forest fund land without expropriation thereof. The aforesaid protected area shall not have the status of legal person. Land, subsoil, wild flora and wild fauna, waterbodies can be conceded in management in accordance with acting legislation. The scope of protected area shall be conservation of biological and landscape diversity with a view of improving atmospheric air quality, protection of forest vegetation, soil and waterbodies against negative environmental and anthropogenic impact, and raising sanitary, hygienic, recreational and protective functions of protected area. Protected area shall carry out the following tasks: (a) conservation of forests, land and waterbodies; (b) conservation of biological diversity, including protected and endangered animal and plant species; (c) environmental monitoring; and (d) ecological education. Regional Decree contains the list of mammals, birds, fishes, insects, plants and wild fauna species (including species subject to hunting) subject to protection.
