Animals (Prohibited Dogs) Regulations (2012 Revision).

These Regulations, made under the Animals Law, place restrictions on the keeping of dogs considered to be dangerous dogs. It sets out conditions for the registration of dogs declared to be prohibited dogs under these Regulations. If it appears to the Governor in Cabinet, after being advised by the Chief Agricultural and Veterinary Officer that any other kind of dog not specified in regulation 2 presents a serious danger to the public, the Governor in Cabinet may, by Notice published in the Gazette, impose in relation to such dogs restrictions corresponding to those applying to other dangerous dogs. The Chief Agricultural and Veterinary Officer shall have enforcement powers in respect of prohibited dogs as specified in these Regulations.
