This Law established authorities, duties of the competent bodies, standards for official controls and inspections, and procedures and methods for reporting to the competent authorities and to the European Commission as well as the obligations of the official laboratories and companies in the food business and related to the contaminants and their residues in food. The Law is divided into 8 Chapters and 12 articles, including offences and related penalties.
