This Decree, consisting of 5 articles, creates within the Secretariat of Energy, the State Programme for Biogas. This Programme aims at: promoting the participation and use of renewable energies within the State of São Paulo, through the generation of inflammable gases originated from biomasses; establishing the authorization to add a minimum percentage of Bio methane to the canalized and commercialized gas within the State of São Paulo. In addition, it creates the Management Committee for the State Programme, specifying its composition, duties and competencies, which aims at the implementation of the management and follow-up of this Programme.
