The present Ordinance implements the Water Law of Hessen of 22 January 1990. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to inspection of raw water of water supply systems. Article 1 establishes that the entrepreneur of a water supply facility shall ensure at his own expense that the water intended for drinking water abstraction shall comply with the agreed quality standards.
