The present Law implements the Non-Edible Animal Products Disposal Act in the version of 25. January 2004 (BGBl. I p. 82). Article 2 establishes that the Land Schleswig-Holstein is responsible for the disposal of non-edible animal products according to article 3 of the Federal Act.
