This Decree, consisting of 7 Chapters, regulates the Sub-programme to Fight Rural Poverty, established under the National Agrarian Reform. This Sub-programme, established by art. 6 of Provisional Measure 2.183-56 of 24 August 2001, aiming at giving to rural workers support to settle their families, settlement of community infrastructure and training of beneficiaries with a view to social and productive consolidation settlement. It shall be governed by this Decree and the Operating Rules of the Fund for Land and Agrarian Reform, referred to in art. 1 of Decree No. 4,892 of 25 November 2003.
