Order on the Declaration of eight forests within different Districts as Reserved and Conservation Forests, under the Forest Conservation Ordinance (Chapter 451).

By virtue of powers vested by Section 3 of the Forest Conservation Ordinance (Chapter 451) as amended by Acts No. 13 of 1966, No. 56 of 1979, No. 13 of 1982, No. 84 of 1988, No. 23 of 1995 and No. 65 of 2009, I, Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy, by this Order declares the following eight Forest Areas: Radawalatenna Alias wane hena, Nikalanda, Murungahiti kanda, Teldeniya kanda, Thotupalakanda, Meewagala, Welegama and Gurugodakanda of different extension Hectares bounded by the limit set forth in the Schedule as Reserved and Conservation Forests.
