This Regulation prescribes the conditions to be applied and met by all legal persons authorized to review the validity and suitability for the intended purpose of the product for fire protection, the conditions for obtaining the authorization, and the terms of expiry of the validity of documents and declared suitability for the intended purpose of products for fire protection. Products for fire protection in terms of this Regulation shall be considered elements of a system, apparatus, equipment, facilities and/or installations which are marked as a product and/or technical equipment officially declared for the purpose of extinguishing, alert and/or preventing the spread of fire.
