This Law changes various articles part of the provisions provided by the Law on genetically modified organisms (Official Gazette 70/2005 and 137/2009). Major changes are related to the general terms, definitions and denominations; administrative and legal provisions and procedures; inspection and official control issues; analysis and laboratory standards; and other technical aspect regarding the GMO’s and/or similar on the Croatian territory. This Law further adopts various Council Directives and their technical provisions in order to assimilate EU and other international standards.
