This Regulation defines the quality and various other requirements for fish, crabs, shellfish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, frogs, turtles, snails and their products, which must be met in production and trade at all stages. This Regulation further provides the official classification of all species here listed, their minimum technical quality rules and other specific denominations; additional labelling and packaging rules; marking and other data necessary for the implementation of food traceability principles.
