The purpose of these Measures is to regulate and strengthen the management of the central treasury funds for forestry subsidies, and improve the efficiency of the use of the funds. The Measures consist of 23 articles. The Measures provide for the requirements and rules to be satisfied regarding the allocation, use, management and supervision of the funds. The central treasury funds for forestry subsidies shall be specially used for afforestation subsidies, forest tending subsidies and forest seed subsidies. Finance and forestry departments of the governments at all levels shall strengthen the guidance, supervision and inspection on the use of the funds.
