This Regulation defines the rules and concrete practices in terms of necessary methods for loading, reloading and unloading of consignments of live animals, their deriving products, raw materials and waste of animal origin. Rules and practices to be implemented as prescribed by this Regulation, are aimed to offer animal welfare, protection and minimum sanitary precautionary principles and standards. The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
