This Law regulates the conditions and manner of exploitation of mineral resources on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, on its surface, sea, river or lake, as well as the construction, use and maintenance of mining facilities. This Law further establishes the necessary administrative rules and requirements, inspection provisions, authorizations/permits, compensation provisions, registration and data collection terms, research and monitoring duties. Mineral wealth, in terms of this Law, are all organic and inorganic mineral raw materials in solid, loose, plastic, liquid and gaseous or in natural melt, which are located in the primary beds, deposits, mining, excavation of landfills and technogenic raw material collection. The Law is divided into VIII Chapters and 124 articles, including all offences and related penalties.
