This Order sets out animal welfare requirements which must be complied with when: slaughtering or killing an animal for food or for another animal product; hunting, capturing or killing an animal prescribed by the Regulations as a game animal; the euthanising of animals; the taking from the wild, capturing, controlling or killing a dangerous animal. The requirements are set out in the Schedules to this Order.
