These Measures aims at regulating the hazardous wastes. The Measures prohibit the manufacture, import, export or use of any scheduled chemicals unless in possession of a permit issued by the competent environmental protection authority. Provisions on the issuance, renewal or variation of permit conditions are set out in the text. The Measures further provides for: cancellation or suspension of permits; powers of authorized officers to enter premises for routine inspection; appointment of authorized officers; etc.
