This Decree, consisting of four articles and one Annex, approves the Technical Regulation on Security of Natural Gas Storage Facilities Liquefied in Cryogenic Tanks Under Pressure - Autonomous Units Liquid Natural Gas (UAGNL). The annexed Technical Regulation is composed of five Chapters divided into 33 articles and two Annexes. Safety measures are provided for the certified construction, use and maintenance of the storage units for liquefied natural gas with storage capacity not exceeding 300m3 per tank, and with maximum pressures of superior service to 100 KPa as well as auxiliary equipment, security and control, piping and installation accessories, intended to supply distribution networks or final consumers competing to the Ministry of Petroleum. Particular attention is paid to the regulation of inspection, controls and sanctions for non-compliance.
