This Law, consisting of 5 articles, establishes compulsory information to be shown on labels on net weight of frozen or ice cover products and marketed in the State of Pernambuco. In particular, it establishes the obligation to provide information on the net weight and the weight observed after complete thawing at room temperature, the labels of frozen food packaging or frozen with ice cover, produced and marketed in the State of Pernambuco. Information about the weight of the product after thawing must be printed on the package labeled "WEIGHT AFTER THAWING" whose characters should have the same prominence and size of those used to inform the net weight of the product.
