This Norm, consisting of four Titles, establishes administrative procedures for monitoring, surveillance, control and record of environmental and forestry compensation, which will be carried out under the Institute of Environment and Water Resources Management of the Federal District, Brasilia Ambiental - IBRAM. This Norm, in accordance with art. 33 of Complementary Law No. 827 of 22 July 2010, to support the implementation and maintenance of the conservation and forestry units in case of implementation through the acquisition and transfer of property and equipment or services to benefit the environment, in accordance with Federal District Decree No. 14.783 of 17 June 1993, as amended by Decree No. 23.585 of 05 February 2003. The monitoring, supervision and recording of forestry compensations made through the planting of seedling are not regulated by this Norm, being the responsibility of the Forestry Management - GEFLO/SUGAP. The Norms is divided as follows: Preliminary provisions (Title I); Administrative procedures (Title II); Competencies of Organic Units (Title III); Final provisions (Title IV). This administrative procedures aims at: defining the specific functions of IBRAM Units, in performing environmental and forestry compensation process; promoting the coordination between the various Units of IBRAM, the Environmental Compensation Board - CCA, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to manage the compensation sector; operationalizing the implementation and enforcement of environmental and forestry compensation.
