The present Agreement in the form of exchange of letters between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Mekong Commission establishes that the German Development Bank shall grant a financial contribution for the project “Protection and sustainable use of wetlands in the lower Mekong region”. However, the eligibility of the project has to be determined and the project may be replaced by others by common agreement of the contracting parties.
