This Law regulates inland waterways and safety of sailing on inland waters of the Republic of Macedonia. The rules here provided are related to the terms and conditions for the performance of safe, sustainable and controlled use, maintenance and protection of navigation routes, of ports, and similar; also defining the necessary identification, registration and cancellation of vessels; further prescribing the terms for vessel crew, treatment in the case of navigation accident; removal of sunken vessels; jurisdiction of the Port Authorities; and supervision and other issues regarding the inland waterways and related navigation issues. This Law is divided into XIII Chapters and 307 articles, including the offences and penalties.
