The purpose of this bilateral Agreement shall be to set forth favourable conditions for further development of bilateral economic and technical cooperation and trade. The two Parties shall, in accordance with their respective laws, support the enterprises of the two countries to jointly invest mineral resources in Chile, China or a third country, in the sphere of exploration, service and development, and cooperate in the field of exploration, investment and mining production in different stages include: mineral resources exploration and development, mining sectoral infrastructure construction and the effective use and sustainable development of mineral resources.
