The purpose of this Memorandum is to maintain, develop and expand the bilateral cooperation in the field of mining. This memorandum of understanding will establish a framework, to strengthen cooperation on the development of mining laws, regulations and policies, technical assistance, training and joint investment in other countries. Areas of cooperation between may include: mining legislation and policy research; sustainable development of mining industry; evaluation of mineral resources; technology transfer and training in modern geological mapping; etc.
