These Establishment Standards for Slaughterhouses, consisting of 14 articles, have been formulated pursuant to the provisions specified in the paragraph 2, Article 30 of the Animal Industry Act. The Establishment Standards include the requirements for environment of slaughterhouses, slaughterhouse plant building, basic facilities of slaughterhouses, post-mortem inspection facilities, etc.
