This Regional Decree establishes that the scope of constituting regional state nature reserve “Romanovskoye” shall be conservation of precious objects of inorganic (inanimate) nature (deposits of amber and elements of landscape related thereto). Regional state nature reserve “Romanovskoye” shall perform the following tasks: (a) conservation of precious objects of inorganic (inanimate) nature (deposits of amber and elements of landscape related thereto); (b) scientific research; and (c) ecological education. The following activities shall be prohibited: (a) exploration and mining; (b) all types of felling except for sanitary felling; (c) land reclamation; (d) collection of minerals; (e) waste disposal; and (f) burning of dry vegetation and making bonfires.
