This Notification sets forth procedures and principles of control over chemicals regarding environmental protection. The import-prohibited chemicals in the scope of release free for circulation, inward processing regime, processing under customs control and temporary admission are listed in Annex-I. Some chemicals listed in Annex-I shall only be imported for laboratory use with the permit of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. The inspection certificate and registration certificate of exporters shall be issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
