The earthquake research and application center of Afyon Kocatepe University shall carry out activities regarding disaster risk management, earthquake monitoring, registration of data due to geophysical, geotechnical, geodesic and geomorphological survey, the minimization of the loss of life and economic losses, urban planning, early warning systems, preparedness for post-disaster phases, and awareness raising. This Regulation sets forth provisions on the purpose, scope, management and administration of the center of the Afyon Kocatepe University.
