This Law defines various issues regarding the correct, controlled and safe use of private boats/yachts on the territory if the Republic of Montenegro (on its water ways, sea/maritime domain). The rules here stipulated are related to the identification and registration (yachts registry and internationally recognized marking and data registry), navigation technical issues, as well as rights and obligations as regards the renting of yachts. The Law is divided into VII Chapters and 46 articles, including the offences and consequential penalties (see Chapter VI).
