This Ministerial Decree sets forth the following goals and objectives: (a) promotion of high technology industrial production output through introduction of advanced technologies and innovative production methods and ecofriendly materials; (b) increase of competitiveness with a view of promotion of export branches of industry, including private businesses; (c) improvement of the national standardization system; (d) reduction of negative environmental impact by industrial facilities; (e) public investments in industrial production; (f) raising employment and (g) compliance with international ecological standards for industrial production. The scope of the State Program shall be increase of technological independence of key branches of the national industry. One of sub-programs is related to creation of industrial chain for processing of animal products, in particular of animal skins and folk art crafts with a view of conservation of traditional knowledge and cultural heritage, improvement of industrial production of wood products (pulp, paper and cardboard) and research with a view of improving national intellectual potential.
