These Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation. The Regulations consist of 19 Articles. According to the Act, the testing for foods, food additives, food utensils, food containers or packaging and food cleansers shall be performed by the competent authority at all levels or the authorized and appointed relevant agency, corporation or organization with approval. The Regulations provide for the conditions for the commission for testing, and other relevant matters. The competent authorities shall enter into a contract with the Commissioned Entities in accordance with the Regulations.
